Description

哥斯大黎加咖啡聞名國際的主要原因來自於理想的生產條件，高海拔、涼爽氣候和肥沃的土壤。如此優良的先天條件加上全心投入的生產者，讓哥斯大黎加咖啡在世界精品咖啡中佔有一席之地。日曬處理法是世界上最古老的咖啡處理方式，因為過程中所需要的水量並不多，所以在水源不豐沛的地區被廣泛的使用。將採收下來的咖啡果實去除浮豆後放置在曝曬場進行長達約１個月的自然乾燥。日曬處理法可以完整地將咖啡最原始風味保存起來。

此外哥斯大黎加的象徵動物：豹，中南美洲叢林中的「森林之王」，在古代瑪雅文明中也受到神格化。然而近年來，由於森林的砍閥造成棲息地的減少，面臨滅絕的威脅。
因此為了支持豹的保護活動，每磅出口的咖啡將最少捐贈1美元至FUNDAZOO，以支持國家保育計畫等野生豹的保護活動。
